Fleming Bros. Lawn Service was started in April 1989 by two brothers: Mike and Kevin Fleming. They Started with one mower and one electric trimmer. Kevin left soon after to pursue a different career. John Fleming , another brother, joined Mike in 1992 while going to school to become a teacher. After John graduated, he left to teach in another state and Mike became then the sole owner. Over the years many family members have worked for the company; including nieces, nephews, and children. Today Mike's his son-in-law Bryan is the Senior Crew Supervisor, his wife Carol is the Operations Manager, and his daughter Sarah is the Advertising & Marketing Coordinator.  Owner:
Mike Fleming
Owner Mike comes from a family of eleven brothers and sisters. He has lived in Rapid City since 1965. He attended and graduated from Rapid City Central High School. In 1990 he attended Western Dakota Technical Institute for Automotive Technology and graduated in 1992 with an Associates Degree. He has five children and four grandchildren.
Operations Manager Carol Fleming has been with Fleming Bros. Lawn Service since its inception in 1989. She is the operations manager, handling employee relations, customer service, accounting, and payroll.
Senior Crew Supervisor Bryan Radke has been with Fleming Bros. Lawn Service since 1994 and is now an essential part of the operation. He is the chief crew supervisor, repairs and maintains all of the equipment, and is in charge of training new employees. Bryan is married to Mike's oldest daughter Summer, they have three daughters.
Office Manager Max started working for Fleming Bros. in 1998. Her duties include accounts payable, keeping employee files and vendor files current, managing all computer files and software, as well as keeping the office organized and running smoothly.
Accounts Receivable & Advertising & Marketing Coordinator Sarah (Fleming) Boyer has worked for Fleming Bros. Lawn Service since 1998. She started as summer help mowing lawns. Her duties include customer service, keeping customer files up to date, accounts receivable, the advertising and the marketing. She graduated from Western Dakota Technical Institute with an Associates Degree in Business Management and Marketing in May of 2006. She married Chris Boyer a Fleming Bros. Lawn Service Crew Manager in August 2007. In February 2009 they welcomed their first child.
